Are you going through lots of tough situations and its causing you to worry. You find yourself saying, “what if”, “when will this…”, “why”, “why me”. Do you find yourself always on edge, wondering when these situations will resolve, move up and out? God gave us His Word. He gave us His Word so that we don’t have to worry.
God loves us. He is always there for us like no other. In 1 Peter 5:7, it reads, “Cast all your anxiety on him because He cares for you.” God cares for us that much that he will invite our problems, our issues to fall upon Him so that we can be free. If you are worried, talk to God. Tell Him “remove any feelings of worry, remove this burden and direct my path so that I can do what you want me to do for my life.”
You can overcome these feelings of worry. In Philippians 4:13, it states, “For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength.” That is your proof, you can get through these feelings of worry. You won’t be there for long because God will give you the strength to get through it all.
Here are some additional Scriptures that I believe you should read to overcome Worry.
Philippians 4:6-7 “Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.”
Proverbs 3: 5-6 “Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take.”
John 14:27 “I am leaving you with a gift-peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give. So don’t be troubled or afraid.”
2 Thessalonians 3: 16 “Now may the Lord of peace himself give you his peace at all times and in every situation. The Lord be with you all.”
Psalm 55:22 “Give your burdens to the Lord, and he will take care of you. He will not permit the godly to slip and fall.”
Psalm 56:3 “But when I am afraid, I will put my trust in you.”
Luke 12:25-26 “Can all your worries add a single moment to your life? And if worry can’t accomplish a little thing like that, what’s the use of worrying over bigger things?”
